High Speed Attracts Short Ban
Our client was advised to plead guilty at the outset to a charge of travelling at 94mph in a 60mph limit. He stood to lose his employment if he were to be disqualified for 6 weeks or more. We successfully managed to persuade the Justice of the Peace to impose a ban of only 28 days and a fine of £300. This was an especially good outcome as our client had 8 penalty points at the time of the offence and would have been disqualified for at least 6 months under the totting-up provisions.
