Glasgow Section 2 Dangerous Driving Dropped

Kept Licence
Glasgow Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

This case was an embarrassment to the judicial system and ought never to have been prosecuted at all.

The allegation was that a cheeky road worker was knocked to the ground by our client when nothing could have been further from the truth.

The case was illogical and incapable of proof. Our Mr Simpson contacted the Crown on numerous occasions to voice his concerns about the validity of this prosecution but was rebuffed on each occasion.

Mr Simpson appeared for the Trial on 4th February 2025. Following a fairly robust exchange with a prosecutor, the case was ultimately discontinued.
