Dumbarton Excessive Speed Dangerous Driving

Kept Licence
Dumbarton Sheriff Court and Justice of the Peace Court

Our client was clocked in the dead of night travelling at 94mph in a 60mph on a bending, undulating road. The road was empty apart from the Old Bill who pinged him with a speed gun. Due to the level of speed and the notorious 'deathtrap' nature of the road layout, it was decided that our client would face a charge of dangerous driving

Our Mr Simpson negotiated a plea to speeding and attended Court to address the Sheriff in mitigation on 27th September 2024.

The plea found favour with the Court and our client's licence was endorsed with 6 penalty points, accompanied by a stern telling-off from the Sheriff.

Licence retained.
