Dangerous Driving Dunfermline

Our client was charged with dangerous driving in Dunfermline (on the B922) by driving his motorcycle at speeds of 96mph in a 60mph limit and 84mph in a 40mph limit. We contacted the Procurator Fiscal in advance of the trial and pointed out a number of inconsistencies in their case and persuaded them to accept a plea of guilty to careless driving at a speed of 78mph in a 60mph limit. Thereafter we attended Court and made a plea in mitigation that resulted in a mere 5 penalty points being endorsed on his licence along with a modest financial penalty. Had we not negotiated in advance with the Procurator Fiscal then our client could well have been facing a disqualification for dangerous driving in Dunfermline.
