Careless Driving Head On Collision 4 Points
Our client was charged with failing to obey road signs and driving into the opposing carriageway thereby causing a head on collision with another motor vehicle. Both vehicles were signifiantly damaged and parties to the collision were seriously injured. We were instructed to plead guilty and persuaded the court that the level of carelessness was at the lower end of the scale. Having reinforced the fact that the injuries suffered and damage caused are not relevant factors to sentence, the court agreed with our submission and selected four penalty points as an appropriate endorsement.
