Careless Driving Case Dropped

A taxi driver obviously needs a driving licence and our client was at serious risk of disqualification owing to the number of penalty points already on his licence and the nature of the allegation. Fortunately, he was recommended by a police officer to seek advice from our Firm. Following extensive investigations we uncovered a technical line of defence which we presented to the Procurator Fiscal on the morning of the trial. The Crown agreed with our legal point and decided - quite correctly - that the case could proceed no further. Our client was permitted to leave the Court with no conviction, no penalty points and no fine. Needless to say our client was delighted with the successful outcome.
