Dangerous Driving Edinburgh Pedestrian

On 4th April 2024, our Mr Lyon successfully persuaded the Crown to take a plea to careless driving for a client who had been accused of deliberately driving at a pedestrian who was crossing the road, in circumstances where the pedestrian had the right of way.

Our client had been accused of dangerous driving and was extremely worried about this case that had been captured on video.

Ultimately, our client retained his driving licence and his business, the Court having endorsed his licence with 6 penalty points.

Our client was facing a minimum disqualification of 1 year along with an order to resit an extended driving test.
