Alloa Totter Speeding Case Dropped

Our client was accused of speeding in Alloa. The offence was caught on camera. Our client was already on the brink of disqualification through 'totting-up' and was anxious to retain his driving entitlement.

We were instructed and managed to discover a few points of law that we deemed to be worthy of exploration.

Our Mr Simpson attended at the Trial on 4th December 2024. Following discussions with the Procurator Fiscal Depute the case was reluctantly discontinued, and our client's licence was retained.
